Oxford Reference OnlineWhen making references to articles within books found on-line via Oxford Reference Online the basic procedure is to create a single Annotated Bibliography for the reference volume itself (that is, creat it if it does not already exist; if it does, check it to make sure that it is accurate and well formed in the style of an annotation for a book, and edit it if necessary). The annotation for the reference volume should include a link to the search page for that particular volume. Then, any time one wishes to make a reference to an individual article within that work, one creates an "in-wiki" citation to the volume, and creates as well a link directly to the individual article. When citing individual articles, make sure you make reference to the author's name. An example:See Jacobs CCJR 1999 for an example of a single annotated bibliography for an Oxford Reference Online volume. See examples of references to Jacobs in our article on Talmud, and in our article on Mishnah. |
