Style SheetCitation of SourcesWe will use a special, wiki-modification of the "in-text" system of citation to secondary and primary sources. For secondary sources, this will look like an author-title-date system. For primary sources, this will look a bit like the standard abbreviation system specified in the SBL Handbook of Style. Our in-text citations will be links to pages providing full bibliographic information on the source cited, AND annotation on its contents. These in-text citations will link to individual pages for each source; so the annotated bibliographies will be for single sources only. Here is one example; note the peculiar format of the author-title-date system that has been employed: According to Shaye J. D. Cohen, "[m]any scholars have discussed judaizing in early Chrsitianity as if the concept were clearly defined, but it is not" (Cohen BJ 2000: 4).
If you follow the link, it takes you to a page with the full bibliographic information on Cohen's book. |
