Groh's article deals with the rise and development of Christianity. In it he discusses the role of Constantine as emperor, the controversy and dealings with the COuncil of Nicaea and the doctrine of the new religion. He continues with discussion on Augustine and then later the major change of the region in the Islamic empire.
