Cohen states at the beginning that information given in the article is one-sided towards rabbinic resources. He discusses the de-judaization of Judea and Jerusalem and its effect on theology and practice. He continues in talking about the Jews, their positions as well as the barriers between them and the rabbis of Israel. About halfway through Cohen begins his discussion on the Mishnah and how it came together and its importance.
