Aggadah

The Aggadah is one of two parts to the Jewish sacred text of the Talmud. Aggadah consists of parables, allegories, stories, proverbs, etc. This part of the Talmud is the "non-juridical" aspect. The second part of the Talmud the Halakhah is the law aspect. (see Jacobs CCJR 1999, Aggadah).
